    Nepal Physiotherapy Association (NEPTA) is a national organization of Nepalese physiotherapists or physical therapist. NEPTA is an active member of the World Confederation of physical therapy (WCPT), where 106 countries member organization are present and actively engaged in promotion of physical therapy. Nepal physiotherapy association is recognized by the government of Nepal and registered as national umbrella organization of professional physical therapists alike to the Nepal Medical Association (medical doctors’ association), Nepal Bar Association (lawyers’ association), and other professional organization under National Direction Act 2018 BS.

    As per the constitution, NEPTA   conducts a conference and selection of new executive committee once in a two year. This time, NEPTA is going to conduct its 8th conference from 18th to 19th November 2016, name of this conference here after is termed as NEPTACON(Nepal Physiotherapy Association Conference)

    NEPTACON  aims to create the platform for national and international experts in rehabilitation,  physiotherapists , other rehabilitation , medical professionals , public health professionals to learn, share and create the network among the professionals. On top of all, NEPTACON also aims to connect the participating delegates with the national actors and government authorities related to health related rehabilitation.

    NEPTA kindly request  and encourage physiotherapy experts, physiotherapists, students, medical and rehabilitation professionals to participate in NEPTACON and contribute the promotion of rehabilitation sector of Nepal.

    Support from the National and International humanitarian agencies to NEPTA and Nepalese government to promote the physiotherapy profession is well acknowledged by NEPTA executive board. Therefore, we also invite these organizations to support us to make this conference a grand success and result oriented.  NEPTA expects the following outcomes from this conference,

    • Promotion of professionalism among the Nepalese PTs
    • Serve the platform to promote the professionals networking
    • Participating delegates learn the recent advancement and evidence based management of health conditions
    • Strength and unity of Nepalese physiotherapist is well recognized by national and international community
    • The participation of stakeholder including government authorities serve a good ground to again advocate for the importance of this part of health care. Wide discussion on implementation of Nepal Health Sector strategy-III(on which physiotherapy is covered within basic health care package) is facilitated on the disaster symposium of the NEPTACON.

    Call for abstract

    NEPTACON is one of the largest platform to share your innovations , good practices and reseacrh related to physiotherapy. NEPTA is looking for abstracts of research or special interest reports for presentation at the Nepal largest  gathering of physical therapists.Abstract presentations are the main way of showcasing research and innovations
