About Nepal

Nepal is the land of Himalayas which is a landlocked country located in South East Asia. It is located between China and India. Nepal has eight of the world’s ten tallest mountains, including the highest point on Earth, the Mount Everest. North of Nepal has more than 240 peaks over 20,000 ft (6,096 m) above sea level.


South of Nepal is blessed by Lumbini, the birth place of Gautam Buddha.


Most of the land of Nepal is rural due to mountains and inaccessible terrains. Nepal is rich in its geography, with mountains, hills, rivers, lakes, water falls, and many beautiful locations in the world.


Along with these, wild life reserves, amazing trekking routes, activities for adventures (including rafting, bungy jumping, paragliding, trekking, hiking, canyoying etc), variety of birds and animals, wide variety of plants frequently attract the attention of the tourists from all round the world.

Nepal is the only country in the world with national flag being non-rectangular in shape and is also considered to be the most mathematical flag in the world.

Climate of Nepal is very pleasant. During November, average temperature of Kathmandu (venue of the conference) will be around 10-15 degree celcius with temperature ranging from 5 to 25 degrees celcius from minimum to maximum respectively.

Nepal is rich in culture and moral values. Nepal is known for its diverse culture, tradition and language, being Nepali as the national Language. Nepal is known also for its traditional cuisine. “Dal- bhat” is a typical Nepali food served with variety of curries, pickles, curd etc. The typical Nepali spices make the food so different and delicious.
